July 11, 2025 – Graduating students Storm Lei and Daniel Wei have each been awarded a $120,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship to pursue studies in STEM at McGill University this fall. The prestigious award is given annually to 100 high-achieving students entering partner universities across Canada.

Storm was highly engaged in extracurricular activities during his time at Marianopolis. His leadership as a member of the Programming and AI Club earned him the College’s Douglas Howes Award for outstanding contributions to the quality of student life.

Daniel was an active member of the Marianopolis robotics team, where his work integrating software and mechanical systems helped the team win a national championship in 2024. He was also awarded the College’s Sarafidis Family Scholarship for Excellence in Engineering in recognition of his academic achievement and commitment to the field.
