August 2026 – A Marianopolis graduate has once again earned a place on CBC’s annual list of 30 classical musicians under 30.

Class of 2017 graduate Elie Boissinot was named to the list following several major career achievements. He recently completed his first season as principal cellist with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra while also joining the University of Manitoba’s Desautels Faculty of Music. After graduating from Marianopolis, Elie continued his studies at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music, where he earned the school’s Golden Violin Award in 2018.

Congratulations to Elie on this well-deserved recognition and much success in the upcoming concert season and academic year!
