Robotics Club Wins First Place at Canadian Robotics Competition
February 2026 – The Marianopolis Robotics Club earned first place overall at the Canadian Robotics Competition (CRC). The win marks the second time in three years the Robotics Club has secured the competition’s top honour.
The team was one of 28 CEGEP and college teams from across Quebec competing at the CRC MODUEL event, held in Montreal from February 18 to 21.
In addition to first place overall, the group earned top honours in kiosk design and construction, website design, website content, and the tutorial component, as well as second place for its video and sixth place in the game component. It also ranked highly in the robot design and programming components.

The CRC MODUEL competition is a multidisciplinary event that combines robotics, languages, arts, and multimedia elements.

The College is especially grateful to Professor Dominique Paradis, faculty advisor to the Robotics Club, whose dedication, mentorship and support over the past six months helped guide the team to this achievement.
