Marianopolis Student Named to Provincial Higher Ed Committee
December 2, 2024 – A Marianopolis student has been invited to share her insight on student success as a special advisor with the Observatoire sur la réussite en enseignement supérieur (ORES), a collective of experts from educational institutions across Quebec dedicated to improving higher education outcomes.
Honours Health Science student Anahita Farahdel is one of only two college students in Quebec selected to join ORES’ new Comité étudiant interordres. As a member of the committee, Anahita will advocate for student perspectives on educational success and contribute to shaping policies impacting higher education in Quebec.
This new role highlights Anahita’s academic excellence, leadership and commitment to community engagement. She is also the founder and executive of the Marianopolis College Food for Thought – Social Awareness Club, where she leads efforts to enhance students’ digital health literacy.
