MIMP Launches Young Women in Finance Event with Alumna Alessia Coticone ’15

March 25, 2025 – The Marianopolis Investment Management Program (MIMP) held its first Young Women in Finance event, an initiative designed to help students build a strong foundation in finance while connecting with industry role models.

For the inaugural event, students had the opportunity to meet Marianopolis alumna Alessia Coticone, CFA‘15, Director of Institutional Equities at Raymond James Ltd. and Co-Chair of VersaFi Quebec.  She led a discussion that provided insight into the operations of financial services companies and explored some of the different analytical tools and approaches used to assess financial performance.

Ms. Coticone also gave students a glimpse into the daily life of a capital markets professional and shared anecdotes from her time as a Marianopolis student.

Heartfelt thanks to Alessia Coticone for taking the time to meet with our students and to our economics professor and MIMP faculty advisor, Norma Vite-Leon, for her help in organizing the event.

The College is grateful to have an alumni community so committed to enriching the student experience.
