Book loans

The Libby Cahill Book Fund provides book loans and book credits for students receiving financial assistance from the Quebec Government Student Loans and Bursaries Program (Aide financière aux études).

How to receive book loans

  1. First, complete the book loan application form below to submit your name for the book loan program. All applicants will be verified for eligibility. If there is an issue with your application, we will contact you. Otherwise, go to step 2.
  2. Next, check your class outline for required readings. More information may be found on the Concordia University BookStop website.
  3. We will let you know which books are available for loan and which books you need to purchase yourself with the help of book credits.
  4. Then, starting on the first day of classes, go to the Library Circulation Desk to pick up the books that are available for semester loan. Bring your valid Marianopolis ID. Most books that are required reading should be available through the book loan program. The rest can be borrowed on a short-term basis from the Reserve Collection. Course packs will not be supplied.

We will do our best to lend you as many of your requested books as possible. Visit the Library as many times as you need to consult with us or to use the Reserve Collection.
