Virtual Parent Information Evening
Parents of all first-year students are invited to the College’s Virtual Parent Information Evening on Wednesday, October 21 at 7:00 p.m. This webinar will provide helpful information to support parents in their important role in guiding their children throughout their journey at the College and in higher education. Parents will also have the opportunity to interact with representatives from various college services.  Learn more and register by October 18.

Survivable Earth: People, Climate and the Law
The Environmental Studies Certificate welcomes guest speaker Karine Péloffy, former head of the Centre québecois du droit à l’environnement and current legal and parliamentary affairs advisor to Canadian Senator Rosa Galvez, will be talking about the climate crisis power dynamics and how to change everything from laws to the economy. All are welcome!

Virtual Open House
Save the date! Prospective students and their families are invited to the College’s Virtual Open House on Sunday, October 31. The entire College will be on display, with professors and current students available to describe life at Marianopolis, as well as Admissions and Financial Aid representatives available to give you all the necessary information for your application. Virtual Program Information Evenings will follow on Tuesday, November 2 and Wednesday, November 3. In the meantime, visit our microsite tailored to prospective students, bemarianopolis.ca.

Priority-Setting Summit hosted by Youth 4 Youth Québec
This two-day event at Dawson College is an amazing opportunity for English-speaking youth from all over Québec to have their priorities, needs and concerns addressed and to grow their networks. Activities will include training workshops addressing youth leadership, educational activities, inspiring guest speakers, networking periods and more. These efforts will culminate in the creation of a 5-year strategic plan to help guarantee the ongoing vitality of Québec’s English-speaking youth. All students welcome! Rencontres virtuelles du grand génie
Cet automne, L’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec fait découvrir la profession d’ingénieur aux collégiens. Du grand génie, c’est une série de rencontres gratuites et interactives en ligne qui te permettra de poser tes questions à des ingénieures sur le terrain et à des étudiantes en génie. Viens découvrir les dessous de l’ingénierie selon 5 thèmes: protection de l’environnement, sciences médicales, industrie aérospatiale, construction et informatique. Tu pourras gagner une bourse d’étude de 1,000$. Inscris-toi ici.
