Registrar’s Office and records
The Registrar’s Office is the place for admissions, scheduling, registration, student records and more. An important part of the Registrar’s Office is the Student Records Office. That is where current and past students can get a wealth of information related to academic standing, admissions, course changes, scheduling, registration and graduation. Student Records also handles requests for official documents, including transcripts and confirmations of attendance.
Located in Room A-211, the Student Records Office is open Monday 9:30-4:30 and Tuesday to Friday 8:30-4:30, except in the summer when it closes at 1 p.m. on Friday. The telephone number is (514) 931-8792, ext. 300. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, cheques and money orders. Most requests will require showing an official ID; to pick up material or make requests on behalf of someone other than yourself, you must have written authorization.

Official letters of attendance confirmation and College transcripts can be ordered easily via Omnivox. Once you select the document you need, Omnivox will let you know when it is expected to be ready and the cost, if any, as well as how you can receive it (by mail, in person, etc.). If there are any production fees, you will be invited to pay by credit card at the time of your request. You can pay by cash or cheque if you make your request in person at the Registrar’s Office (Room A-211) or if you choose to pay when you pick up your document.
To request a document, simply click on “Document Request” located on the Omnivox menu.If you are a former student you will need your student number and password to access your Omnivox account. If you do not remember your password, you must select a new one by clicking on “Forgot your password”. For this you will need your permanent code. If you graduated prior to Winter 2011, you must log onto Omnivox using the “First Use” link. This will allow you to validate your personal information and create a new password. If you need help, please call the Registrar’s Office, ext. 300. All official letters of confirmation are certified with an official Skytech Omnivox seal that can be validated online by people or institutions receiving the letters.
There are two types of transcripts you can request: the official transcript, which costs $10 per address to which it should be mailed and which is sealed and stamped; and the unofficial transcript, which is free and not sealed or stamped. Please specify the quantity of each type of transcript and the address(es) where each should be mailed.
We usually process transcript requests in three business days. We cannot email or fax transcripts.
You can access your student information and your unofficial transcript on Omnivox. Go to First use?; add your personal information (student number, permanent code, date of birth); create a password. Once you have created your account, you may access your unofficial transcript and R-Score, under Final Grades.
Bring a picture ID to the Student Records Office. If you are sending someone else to pick up your diploma, you must give them written authorization. If you want your diploma mailed to you, send by mail your request and a $25 cheque or money order.
We will notify you by mail as soon as your diploma has arrived from the government.
