Clubs and Congress
With almost 100 student clubs, life outside the classroom at Marianopolis has something for everybody. The clubs are a great opportunity for students to meet and work with peers who share the same interests and talents. A chess-playing fundraising environmentalist who loves hip hop and sushi has at least five clubs to join.
Students wishing to start a club should contact Student Life Animator Trudy Ste.Croix (A-158,ext. 293). She helps students facilitate all aspects of extracurricular life at Marianopolis, from supporting the nearly 100 student clubs to organizing Winter Carnival, various charity drives, the Talent Show and more. Student club executives may view and book events via Master Calendar.
Any student may join any club except Silver Key, a volunteer leadership position for which students may apply at the beginning of each academic year. The rest of the clubs cover five categories: Academic, Recreational, Cultural/Religious, Sport/Athletic and Social Awareness/Volunteering.
Marianopolis Student Congress is the student-government body at the College.
