The Culture and Art of Florence:
Marianopolis Culture Abroad Trip
Spring Break 2009
Florence is the cradle of the Renaissance, a bustling city that teems with art, culture, history and activity. This trip gave Marianopolis students the chance to admire this beautiful city and its contributions to the world first hand. Seeing art and architecture is an experience that cannot be replicated. Oh, and did anyone mention the gelato?
Each year, Marianopolis College students have the opportunity to participate in trips to Europe. Last summer, they visited Paris. During the 2009 spring break, they went to Florence. In August 2009 they travelled to Amsterdam.
