ArtsFest
Marianopolis' Annual Arts Celebration
ArtsFest is a weeklong celebration of the arts held every April as well as a beloved Marianopolis tradition. A joint initiative of the English and the Liberal and Creative Arts departments, ArtsFest is free and open to the public.
Held throughout the campus, ArtsFest gives students from
every area of study a chance to showcase their literary and video works, musical talent
and art of all kinds.
Host to
everything from bagpipes to paintings and cookbooks, ArtsFest features an arts café with performances by students and teachers alike, as well as theatre vignettes,
an alumni art contest, the College's literary journal, film screenings and a concert by Marianopolis’ laptop
orchestra. A highlight is the ArtsFest concert, featuring students from the Marianopolis Professional Music Program.

Fine Arts courses for students in all areas of study
This virtual gallery is a portal to artworks
created by students enrolled in the Fine Arts courses offered at Marianopolis.
Open to students from all areas of study, these introductory studio
courses provide a rich interrelationship between different
interests. Still, the drawings, paintings, sculptures,
architectural models, digital collages and mixed media works respond to precise
studio assignments, as they deal with relevant concepts of contemporary and
traditional art-making, as well as the development of technical skills.
Marianopolis is proud to present a brief selection of works by students
from 2008 to 2011.
