Why do you think you need peer tutoring?

By registering in the Peer Tutoring Service, I agree to the following:

  • I will receive free tutoring services from the tutor assigned to me by the Discipline Coordinator.
  • I understand that all tutoring sessions will take place at the Learning Resources Centre in room F-317 at regularly scheduled appointment times.
  • I understand that I must show up on time or advise my tutor at least 24 hours in advance that I cannot attend the predetermined appointment.  I will attend all my tutoring sessions unless I have a very good reason to cancel.
  • I will try to benefit as much as possible from this service by coming prepared to the sessions with the appropriate material and questions/topics to be discussed.
  • I will not ask the tutor to do assignments or homework for me.
  • I understand that the tutor will do her/his best to help me but should not be seen as a replacement for my teacher.
  • I will remain in good standing in the given class and at the College.
  • I will promptly advise the Discipline Coordinator of any difficulty associated with my tutoring sessions, particularly if I no longer require the service.
  • I will be receiving tutoring for no more than two disciplines at a time.
  • I, freely and voluntarily, accept to complete an evaluation questionnaire at the end of the semester.
