At Marianopolis, we offer a motivating and challenging environment for students to explore their interest in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
Our graduates have gone on to study in over 50 scientific areas at the university level and work in all areas of scientific inquiry across Canada and in other countries.
Who Should Take It?
If you enjoy Biology and Chemistry, you should select Health Science at Marianopolis. If you prefer Math and Physics, the Pure and Applied Science option would allow you to pursue your interests. You may change options during or after your first year.

Where Does It Lead?
The Health Science option (200.B1) leads to university studies in health-related fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics and Nutrition or Veterinary Medicine.
The Pure and Applied Science option (200.B2) is a straight path to university studies in Engineering, Architecture, Pure Sciences, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences and other Applied Sciences.
Honours Science Certificate
The Honours Science Certificate is designed to provide some of our highly motivated science students with tangible recognition within a stimulating and creative framework of courses and activities. Students have some freedom in designing a choice of activities that is suited to their particular interests and needs. This includes activities such as lectures, industrial visits and competitions. Admission into the Honours Science Certificate is limited and selective. Students apply shortly after the start of their first semester at Marianopolis.
