On average, there are between 1700 and 1800 students who attend Marianopolis.
Applications are delivered to high schools (French & English) throughout Montréal in January. Students may pick up the application at their Guidance Office in January. Students may also apply online.
The courses not counted in the admissions calculations are those such as Physical Education/Career Choice/Personal and Social Development/Keyboarding.
The overall average of Secondary IV and V courses is taken and a separate Math and Science average of Secondary IV and V Math and Science courses is computed.
These courses will count in the overall average but we also compute a separate Arts average leaving out Math and Science grades taken in Secondary IV & V. We will not overlook a good Arts candidate whose grades in Sciences and Math are weak.

Yes, after acceptance, all students from French high schools will be tested. The test is administered as a means of identifying students who may need extra help to succeed in an English first-language context.
Transfers after one semester may require the student to take summer courses. Transfers made after a full year of study will most likely require an extra semester of study at Marianopolis.
Yes. The Admissions Office will verify final grades in July to verify that prerequisite courses have been successfully completed and that the requirements for the Secondary School Diploma have been met. Students who fail Diploma and/or CEGEP entrance requirements will have their admission to the College withdrawn.
