Marianopolis' Creative Arts, Literature and Languages program cultivates self-expression, analysis and the application of ideas in theoretical as well as creative contexts.

Students applying to Creative Arts, Literature and Languages will choose a profile based on their area of interest. Marianopolis offers two profiles:

  • Arts and Letters
  • Languages

Who Should Take It?

This program will appeal to three groups of students; those who are interested in traditional arts, creative arts, and languages.

  • If you are interested in the traditional arts disciplines of Art History, Literature, Music History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies you should choose the Arts and Letters profile.
  • If you are interested in the Creative Arts: Studio Art, Cinema and Theatre, our Arts and Letters profile is the only one in Québec, which gives you access to computer science courses (graphics, programming, web design).
  • If you are particularly interested in languages - French, German and Spanish - you should choose the Languages profile.
