Marianopolis Science Fair
The Marianopolis Science Fair is a cross-curricular competition which allows students to share their passion for discovery with university professors and scientists. It is open to all students. Winners can go on to national and international competitions. As the name implies, the Science Fair is a means for students to explore an area of interest and to present their findings in a public forum. Hence, participation in the Science Fair sharpens both knowledge and self-confidence.
The goals of this project are to awaken an interest in science among students in all departments of the College, to provide mentorship for students in their chosen area of interest, to prepare students for oral and visual presentations in the real world, and to enhance the profile of the College in the scientific community, locally and internationally. Participation in the Marianopolis Science Fair also provides an excellent opportunity to obtain course credit through the Épreuve synthèse.
