A Message from the Director General

I welcome you to Marianopolis College at a unique time for our exceptional educational community. We began this academic year by returning to our beautifully renovated former home. We celebrate our Centennial in 2008 and we are in the midst of our first major capital campaign.

For 100 years and through five moves, Marianopolis has fulfilled the standards set by our founders, while moving to the forefront of educating young people. That pioneering vision has guided us for the last century and made us the high-ranking school that we are today, a college that nurtures motivated students in the first phase of higher education. It is a vital place that attracts outstanding educators and students; foremost, it is a community that is inspired by respect and intellectual curiosity.

As it embarks on its second century, Marianopolis is a remarkable institution, one with a storied past and a progressively earned reputation as a warm, welcoming place for students. It lays claim to an unparalleled record of achievement. Each day on this vibrant campus I am gratified by our students’ spirit of social engagement, our staff and faculty’s dedication and high standards, as well as by our graduates’ achievements and generosity.

I am proud to lead a community with so rich a past and so dynamic a present, with a vision for the future. Whether you are a student, parent of a student, prospective student, graduate, professor, staff member or friend, I value your support, interest and input. I invite you to be a part of Marianopolis during our Centennial year.
