Alumni Association Photo Contest

Three current students have won the Marianopolis Alumni Association's Photo Contest, which was open to all alumni, students, faculty and staff in conjunction with ArtsFest 2008.

With "Cardinal Directions, Beyond Geography," Alina Turcu won first place in the contest, the theme of which was Marianopolis life. She will receive a 5-in-1 digital camera/camcorder. Marta Barnes won second place with "Corkscrew Staircase" and Irina Cionca third with "Le Théâtre." Barnes and Cionca will each receive an Omer DeSerres gift card. All three students are studying creative arts.

The Alumni Association extends a thank you to all the participants, prize donors, judges and involved faculty for helping launch this project, and looks forward to sponsoring the photo contest next year.
