Photo contest winners capture life on campus
Winners of the 2009 college-wide photo contest, sponsored and judged by the Marianopolis Alumni Association, were Alina Turcu '09, awarded a $200 first prize for "Stars and Stripes" and Kyla Mandel '09, who received a $50 second prize for "Life on the Lawn". Li-Anne Sayegh '09 was awarded an honorable mention and a $20 iTunes gift card for "Candid Shot."
The photo contest is open to all Marianopolis students, alumni, faculty and staff as part of ArtsFest, the College's week-long annual celebration of creativity. The Alumni Association thanks all the participants and looks forward to judging next year's submissions.

Contest requirements
- Submission deadline: noon, April 17, to the Development & Alumni Affairs Office, F-127.
- Photo specifications: 8" X 10” print on glossy photo paper and digital version. Limit of three submissions per person.
- Please submit your photograph(s) with a written description of the work as well as a release form signed by each individual appearing in the photo.
- All entries become the property of Marianopolis College and may be used on the College's website and/or print media.
- Winning entries will be published on the College's website and in an upcoming issue of Alma Matters alumni magazine.
