No, because if it's easier to get better marks elsewhere then it's easier for everyone to get better marks as well.  All else being equal, your R-score will be the same.

One of the main reasons that the R-score was created was to deal with situations like the one addressed in the question above. The R-score compensates for uneven standards, as well as uneven grading practices.
