Excellence of Academic Records of Marianopolis Science Graduates

In recent years student performance in college has been measured not only by the traditional transcript of percentage grades, but also through a new measure called the R-score (CRC, or la cote de rendement au collégial ). The R-score is used by Quebec universities as a selection tool for entrance into most university programs (see examples below), while grade averages are used as an admission criterion by universities outside Quebec.

The chart below provides the R-score distribution of recent Marianopolis Science graduates.

At Marianopolis

14% of Science graduates had R-score of 34 or higher (McGill cut-off for Pre-med)

52% of Science graduates had R-score of 30 or higher

91% of Science graduates had R-score of 25.5 or higher (McGill cut-off for B.Sc.)

94% of Science graduates had R-score of 25 or higher (McGill cut-off for Engineering)
