Double DEC in Science / Music (200.11)

Like students in the Science program, students in the Science/Music Program can choose between two basic science profiles: Health Sciences and Pure and Applied Sciences.  A student's choice of profile is determined by the pre-requisites of the desired university program of studies, and it is possible to change profiles while in college. Elective courses within each profile are selected on the basis of student interest, keeping in mind additional university requirements.

For more information on which profile is the most suitable choice, visit the page "Health Science or Pure & Applied Science?"

Course grids vary according to two factors:  the choice of profile, and whether the student is required to take MAT LCX (Topics in Mathematics) in their first semester.  Students with an enriched high school math background may seek an exemption from MAT-LCX. Exemptions are granted individually at registration.
Sample course grids by semester:

  1. Pure and Applied Sciences Profile, with MAT LCX
  2. Pure and Applied Sciences Profile, with exemption from MAT LCX
  3. Health Sciences Profile, with MAT LCX
  4. Health Sciences Profile, with exemption from MAT LCX
