The following is a list of activities you can take part in to complete the requirements for the Certificate:
Amnesty International
Coordination: 10 pts (maximum)
Fair Trade Coffee Sales
Coordination: 15 points
Sales: 5 pts. (maximum)
Festivals (three or more films or performances)
Attendance and written report: 10 pts. (maximum)
Website
Managing / revising / posting: 20 pts.
Free the Children Campaign
Active Involvement: 5 pts. (maximum)
Lecture, Film, or Performance
Attendance and written report (see instructions for written report above): 5 pts.
Photography (student is expected to attend all activities and take pictures; film supplied):
10 pts. (maximum)
Third World Café (all students are expected to be involved)
Coordination: 15 pts. (maximum)
Active Involvement: 5 pts.
Third World Studies Journal
Editing/Production: 20 pts.
Article Writing (minimum: 250 words): 10 pts.
Volunteer Work with an NGO (eight hours minimum)
20 pts. (maximum)
World Development Day
Coordination: 10 pts. (maximum)
