COMPETENCY: "To realize that physical activity is an essential lifestyle behaviour which promotes health"
Students study the relationship between physical activity, stress management and nutrition and identify how they impact on general health. Each course emphasizes cardiovascular fitness and its many benefits. Muscular endurance, strength and flexibility are also presented and incorporated into each course. Students identify personal needs, abilities and motivational factors as well as time mangement needs that lead to regular, safe and effective physical activity.
Additional fees are required for courses marked with an asterisk (*).
