Prerequisites

A combined average mark of 85% or more in Sec IV and Sec V is recommended, with strong reading and writing skills. Courses at the secondary level should include Chemistry 534, Math 536 and Physics 534.

Letter of intent

A one to two page letter indicating the applicant's interest in the Arts, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences should be included with the application. The letter may also indicate any extracurricular activities related to Art, Drama, Music, Leadership, Community work, etc., which would be considered by the admission committee.

Alternatives

Qualified applicants who are not admitted to the A&S program due to limited spaces will be automatically considered for admission into another program (Science, Commerce, Social Science, Liberal Arts or Creative Arts). Applicants may indicate an alternate choice of program in their letter of intent.
